Not too bad of charger. 1/24/2012
Aaron from Holmen,wi

Well I will start by saying that this was my first purchase through buy.com. Now on with the product. My wife and I where spending alot of money on disposable batteries and had decided to research and look at different rechargable batteries for our Wii. It only took a matter of minutes before we decided on this gem. It has been charging the Wii controllers since the day we recieved it. No complaints here! Good charger!

Great... for a while 4/1/2011
A customer from Baltimore, MD

This product lasted about 6 months before it completely died. It needs to stay plugged into the wii USB to work, and we had to jiggle the unit a lot to get the charger to stay on. Besides that, it did what it was supposed to do. It just stinks that now we have to order another one.

Defective batteries will not hold charge 11/16/2010
Doctor Vee from Franklin TN

These suck. Go for a different brand or stick with alkalines. The chargers are OK but the batteries are TERRIBLE. And eforcity will not acknowledge the these are defective. Save yourself a hassle

Cheap Junk 11/2/2010
Joe S. from Chicago, IL

(1) Cheap batteries that won't hold a charge after a few months of use. (2) It is tricky to replace the remotes so that they touch the charging terminals, and bumps will cause them to loose contact. (3) When the remotes are charging the clear plastic glows with an overly-bright blue light; its really annoying. (4)The cord is too short. ( I wish I had just bought a decent set of AA rechargeable batteries. )

Kinda crappy. 10/29/2010
Mike V from Thompsons Station, TN

I can deal with removing the jacket to charge. No big deal. The battery life is awful... If you leave the remote sitting off the charger, it will drain by itself. I got two weeks using the Duracell Alkalines and maybe an hour off of these. The cells are crap. It say they are 2800 maH but they do not last at all. Avoid.

Wii Dual Charging Station 10/8/2010
A customer from Easton, Mass

Only time will tell how long the batteries last after several recharges.Remotes don't seat correctly all the time..No room for wrist band to clear the charging area of the docking station. For the price, it's a good deal..

Looks nice enough 5/3/2010
Ben from Pasadena, CA

It was not the easiest thing to get working as the battery packs did not seem to be perfect fits for Wiimotes, but once I readjusted them they worked and charged fine. I don't play the Wii often so I have no idea how long they actually last, but for the cash, I'm not too worried.

Works great if you can keep it charged 3/1/2009
Chadd from Nevada

I'm on my my second set of the chargers. With the first set the batteries would only last for about 45 minutes even though I charged them for a day before using them the first time. The company sent me a new set and the batteries now last about 1.5 hours. I can play on a normal set of batteries for weeks so i'm not impressed.

Battery life is pretty unstable 2/26/2009

I've gave up on using this charger. With the Wii silicon jacket on. You just can't charge it. Well, I can live with that. But the battery life is really bad. I went back to my old fashion rechargeable battery. And it only comes with a USB charger so you can't plug this into the wall outlet and have to sacrifice one of the USB port on your computer.

Great to save lots of AA batteries..!! 12/8/2008
Bimal Patel from Burlington , NJ

my niece have a Wii for almost a year... she used lots of AA batteries for her Wii Remote... so i finally bought this one... she had some difficulties to place her both remotes on this charger, bcoz she had snap-on remote covers... but once she remove their covers, its soo easy for her to charge and use efficiently... Pros : Cheaper Price , Save AA batteries , fast charging , easy to use. Cons : connecting cable is too short (u need to place charger near to Wii Console) , need to remove cover/strap from remote

good battery life nice product 12/3/2008
royce from janesville,wi

charger works great and now i don't have to search around for my wii remotes anymore. only complaint is the connectors on the dock are finiky somtimes you have to adjust the remotes to get it to charge. other than that you can't beat this for the price.

Great Charger 12/2/2008
Aaron from Roseville, CA

Seems to work just fine - battery life is pretty good, and for the cost, you would be hard-pressed to get 4 good rechargeable AA batteries at the same cost (at the sale price that I paid for it) The only downfall is that the Wii has to be turned on for the charger to work, as it is powered via one of the USB ports on the back of the Wii. Another issue is that if you use the protective silicone jacket on the Wii remote, it has to be pulled up and out of the way for the remote to fit in the charger. For $12, I'm not complaining all that much.

love it 11/29/2008
Denise from Milwaukie

Hey can't beat the price. All the others are in the $25-$50 range. I got one of those a year ago and here I am replacing it with the $15. Dave from Iowa said he should have bought two. I did and very happy about it. My nephew played for 3 hours and it took about 30 mins. to recharge.

cheap charging station 9/27/2008
Neon from VA

This is a cheap charging station. The charge does not last very long on the battery. To charge your controller with protective "glove", you will have to peel it half-way off or not use the protective sleeves at all. Otherwise it is nice to not have to constantly swap out batteries.

50% is not good enough 9/21/2008

Only one side of the charger works, which is not good enough in my opinion. But the good news is that the unit was "cheap". Next time I will go with a more well known brand.

works, but not well 7/30/2008
dolby323 from los angeles, ca

CONS: USB cable is too short, batteries don't last long enough, remote is hard to seat in charger
PROS: price (I paid $11 shipped), value compared to non-rechargable batteries
OVERALL: ok deal, but after about 30 days of light usage, batteries will now barely charge enough to play a couple of hours

Nice, with some caveats 6/13/2008
Anonymous from Andover, MA

Seems to work well, but it has some minor issues. The USB cord is fairly short. I had to remove the covers to my remotes to get them to fit. I have to be careful placing them in the unit to arrange the strap for the remote. The red/blue light is awfully bright. My wife complained that it bothered her when she was watching TV & I had to turn it sideways.

Good Value 6/10/2008

So far, we're really liking the charger. It doesn't last as long as we would like, but it's better than buying batteries constantly. Only once have we had to stop playing to charge the batteries. Overall, good value for the price paid, and quick shipping.

Wii owner from Utah

We have had this for a couple weeks now and LOVE it! It is great to set the Wiimotes on the charger after we are done playing, then have them ready for play the next time! Sure beats the heck out of throwing $$$ away on batteries! Highly recommended!!!

love that it has a usb connection 6/2/2008

if u r like myself i have about 7 different things pluged into outlets on main living room entertainment center. this charger lets me charge it directly to the wii station so it doesnt need to occupy another outlets plug, which is great considering after my multiple tv"s( so i can play games while watching a movie ), playstation 3, xbox, dvd. stereo system ..its one less thing i have to plug into an outlet. great on delivery also..very prompt depending on where u live. heard complaints on battery life but i have multiple wii stations( one for the child and one for myself) i like the usb cable better than the wall outlet unit

Disappointed: THIS JUNK collects dust 6/2/2008

When I 1st got this, I was disappointed that this is a piece of junk. I said to myself, no wonder it's only $10.00. I'm not sure if I can trust switching the battery on my Wii controllers. I just don't feel comfortable at all. This is not made from Nintendo, it came with a crummy box (something you pick out from the 99cent store), this doesn't look legit, no wonder Video game or retail store don't sell this merchandise. Should come with a Warning: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Works as expected 6/2/2008

The product works as expected, and it is very intuitive to install. The red and blue indicators let you know whether charging or already charged. The only CON I would say is that the blue light does not turn off after a certain period of time, and I have to disconnect it at night because it's very bright. Other than that, it's great! It pays for itself in the batteries you don't have to buy if you play a lot of Wii, and it's more convenient than rechargeable standard batteries.
