Minus the glitz, we just want to be the guy who’s got your back when your dog chews up your charger. You know those mom-n-pop stores that seem to have everything under the sun, with the friendly guy up-front who knows his gadgets and lets you use the employee bathroom? That, is what we strive to be style line-height: As our business continues to grow, we will continue to bring you the latest cell phone accessories, camera accessories, MP3 accessories, AV cables, gaming accessories, computer accessories and flying animals. Yes, even flying animals (sometimes, even we’re not sure if we run the business or if they do). eForCity was conceived on one fateful night in 2000. We were sitting in a garage and contemplating life. After the second slice of pizza, an idea came to our young adventurous minds. No, we didn’t start a rock band, even though that would have been cool. We decided that the world has had enough of overpriced gadget accessories and something needed to be done. So, we started selling bargain electronic accessories online right from that garage, with a makeshift warehouse made of cardboard boxes. Soon after, eForCity.com was born. Ten years later, eForCity has grown to be a go-to destination for gadget lovers, bargain hunters, geeks and all the cool kids alike. Sometimes we can’t believe we’ve grown so much either. Though we are pretty sentimental about that garage, our sunny California headquarter has been home to eForCitizens since 2000. Complete with an ever- expanding warehouse, we insist on shipping locally to guarantee you the best quality fulfillment and most efficient delivery. Did we mention our warehouse also has a colony of flying monkeys?
 
Tax Policy
We only collect sales tax in California. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Listed below, to our best knowledge, are states that require retailers to provide notice. It is to your best interest to find out details of how to file these returns at the websites of your respective taxing authorities. Oklahoma: For Oklahoma purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. The referenced forms and corresponding instructions are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website, www.tax.ok.gov. We are required to provide the notice above for Oklahoma purchases based on Oklahoma law (HB 2359) enacted in June 2010. South Carolina: Please be aware that you may owe South Carolina Use Tax on your purchases. You may visit www.sctax.org to pay the use tax or you may report and pay the tax on your South Carolina Income Tax Form. We're required to provide this notice based on South Carolina law Section 12-36-2691(E)(1). South Dakota: For South Dakota purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the South Dakota use tax form. The use tax form and corresponding instructions are available on the South Dakota Department of Revenue website. We are required to provide the notice above for South Dakota purchases based on South Dakota law (SB 146) enacted in April 2011. Tennessee: Please be aware that purchases shipped to Tennessee may be subject to Tennessee Use Tax (T.C.A. § 67-6-210) unless an exemption exists under Tennessee law. A sale is not exempt under Tennessee law because it is made through the Internet. Payments of applicable Tennessee use tax may be made through the Tennessee Department of Revenue's Website at //apps.tn.gov/usetax. Vermont: For Vermont purchasers, the tax may be reported and paid on the Vermont use tax form. Manufacturer's Warranties Policy

Many manufacturers offer additional factory coverage. If you have purchased the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) item with the retail packaging, please refer to the Manufacturer's Warranties Policy below.

eForCity does NOT offer any returns on any products under Manufacturer's Warranties return policy unless it's a wrong item shipped case or never opened items. All items must be returned in the original brand new condition or will be refused at customer's cost.

Products listed under Manufacturer's Warranties return policy must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement.


Special Return Policy

1. Original packaging (manufacturer's box, plastic bags, etc.)

2. Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.

3. Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is REQUIRED on every return package. You can obtain the RMA number by contacting us at CSreturns@eforcity.com with your Invoice / Order Number.

4. Original packing slip. Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.

5. The return must be complete and include all accessories

6. Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)

All returns under Special Product Return Policy require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned without RMA number will be refused.


Pet Product Return Policy

* Return for refund (original purchase price only, shipping and handling is NOT refundable): 30 days from the Invoice date.

* Return for replacement: No replacement is offered

* 15% restocking fee will apply for all items that are not defective or wrong shipped.

* All items must be returned in “New” condition.

 

All returns under the Pet Product Return Policy must include the following:

1. Original packaging (manufacturer's box, plastic bags, etc.)

The RMA number must be written on the invoice or the shipping box. The RMA number must NOT be written on the original manufacturer's packaging. Items received with any writing on the original manufacturer's packaging will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval.

 

All items have to be returned within 30 days of the Invoice Date. Except as provided for verified defective products, you will be responsible for all shipping charges for returns sent to our Returns Warehouse. All products are subject to a 15% restocking fee (except where prohibited by law) if returned opened or in a non-factory sealed box, provided that there is no restocking fee for defective products. Defective products can only be returned for a refund at the products purchasing price. The purchase price will be credited to the method of payment that was used for the original purchase.

All returns under Pet Product Return Policy require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned without RMA number will be refused.

eForCity® in its sole and absolute discretion shall be the sole determiner of whether a product is in fact defective.


Seasonal Products

eForCity® does NOT offer any returns on any products unless it's due to wrong item shipped or defective item **(manufacture defect only; Defect due to user error excluded). All items must be returned in the original brand new condition within 15 days from the invoice date. All returns other than the listed conditions will be refused at customer’s cost.

DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Movie, Return Policy

* Return DVDs for refund: Within 30 days (must be unopened, still in its plastic wrap)

All DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Movies must be returned within 30 day of the Invoice date. All returned DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, Movies must be in brand new condition (unopened, still in its plastic wrap). All opened non-defective returns will be refused at customer's cost. For defective and wrong shipped DVDs / Blu-ray Discs / movies, we will offer refund at its original purchase price only, no replacement is offered. For wrong shipped DVDs / Blu-ray Discs / movies, they must be returned in the original brand new condition, never opened and still in its plastic wrap. All of our DVDs are Region 1 movies; we are NOT responsible for accepting returns due to purchase of wrong Region code DVDs.


Action and Toy figures Return Policy

* No returns accepted unless defective products. Defective item must be reported within 7 days from the delivery. Please contact us to obtain the RMA number; All items returned without RMA number will be refused. The return must be complete and include all parts from the package including packaging material, UPC barcode and Manufacturer documentation.
